A word From your President and Groomer Drivers

1/7/23

Despite the little warm up we had this week, the trails are holing up.  The groomers attempted to go out on Wednesday but it was too warm and too wet.  Temps have cooled down and the groomers were able to get out Friday night and will be going out again tonight!  Below are a few pictures from Friday night grooming.  Riders are saying the trails are great!

12/28/22

Wow...we had a great opening weekend!  Many riders expressed that the trails were the best they could remember for opening day.   With that being said, we have also had a lot of traffic and the weather has warmed up, so the trails have taken a beating the last couple of days.  Unfortunately, they are calling for warmer weather and possible rain.  Hopefully, they are wrong!  Groomers have been out and are running their regular schedule.

12/21/22

Oneida County Trails open at 8 am on Friday, December 23rd.

*Lakes are considered not safe until they have been marked.

*Ride Right, Ride Safe!

*Please read the PSA for additional information!

12/16/22

Calling all volunteers!  We need volunteers to help brush trails tomorrow, Dec 17th at 10 am!  Meet at LaCanne's Resort on Swamp Lake!  Snowmobiles preferred or ATV’s with tracks.  Bring chainsaws.

12/15/22

Trails are CLOSED!

But on a positive note, we did get 6-8” of heavy, wet snow.  Unfortunately, that also means probably some trees down on the trails.  We will be going out to pan and assess any additional work that needs to be done before trails are safe and ready.  Stay tuned for additional information.  While you wait…do a little snow dance!

FALL TRAIL CLEAN UP

On Saturday, October 29th, we had 28 people in attendance to help groom the South end of our trail system.  November 5th we held another brushing day for the North end with 15 people in attendance...they braved the rain and got the job done!

We want to thank everyone that took the time to come out and help!
